The Authenticity Rating System
VormWeb classifies search results into three categories: verified authentic services, unverified or uncertain sites, and known scams or clones. This three-tier approach gives users immediate context about whether a result is likely legitimate before they visit it.
This makes VormWeb distinctly useful for checking market and service addresses. If you have found an address through another channel and want to verify it before depositing funds, VormWeb’s categorisation provides a useful second opinion. A result flagged as a known clone is a strong signal to discard the address you were given.
Limitations
The authenticity database requires manual maintenance — newly launched phishing clones may not yet be flagged. VormWeb’s index size is moderate compared to Torch or Haystak. Use it specifically for address verification rather than broad content discovery.
